National Debt Holdings looks forward to attending the RMAI 2022 Annual Conference from February 7-10 in Las Vegas, NV. We are proud to be an RMAI Certified Receivables Business. Through our extensive experience building successful client relationships, National Debt Holdings can help creditors maximize the value of distressed receivables. We are the perfect partner for your portfolio sales and acquisition and account management needs.

If you’re a creditor seeking to liquidate non-performing or underperforming receivables, we can discuss debt sales or steer you toward one of our approved purchasers to help you boost your bottom line. If you’re looking for an established recovery network, NDH can manage your accounts with our servicer partners based on data-driven strategies. If you’re a vendor, we can work with you through our vetting process to connect you with quality creditors and portfolios servicing opportunities.

A Few Conference Tips

As we prepare for the big event, we’re sharing some of our conference travel tips for new attendees and anyone who might appreciate them. Whether you’ve been attending for years or this is your first conference, it’s important to plan and pack well! Here are 3 quick reminders for your conference travel. Happy and safe travels, and we look forward to seeing you in February!

1. Charge Up

We all wish we could be superhuman conference masters, but we also need to be realistic about our personal energy needs and limits because thankfully, we’re not all the same. So take time to charge your “batteries” in advance and remember to bring what you’ll need to keep them charged— both metaphorically and physically (pack your phone and computer chargers). You’ll want to get as much out of the conference as possible while you’re there, and the time flies!

2. Plan Smart

As with anything in life where energy is needed, it helps to eat well and sleep well. Be assertive where possible about traveling in a way that suits you. If this means putting on headphones and meditating on the plane so your seatmate doesn’t wear you out before you arrive, go for it (pack headphones). If this means not attending every event, choose the ones that you know will be most valuable for you. If this means leaning toward morning coffee meetings over evening happy hours or vice versa, maximize where you’ll do best; if you’re mentally tuning out from exhaustion, you’re probably not networking effectively.

3. Schedule Breaks

You might benefit from planning short breaks into your schedule to help you stay alert and engaged. Here are some ideas:

  • Take a 10-minute power nap in your room between events.
  • Plan a brisk walk or run with a colleague (pack the right shoes including walking/running shoes).
  • Walk the stairs in the hotel for a quick energy boost.
  • Take a coffee break and use it for networking.
  • Pack energy-boosting snacks in your conference bag (pack snacks in your carry-on and bring enough for the conference, too).

Planning ahead can help you maximize brief breaks in the conference agenda to keep you on your game and utilize informal networking opportunities.
